Driving Instructor — Class 5 & Class 7

All Calgary quadrants Full-time or part-time Per-lesson + bonuses
Most needed

What you'll do

  • Deliver Class 5 lessons, Class 7 GDL training, and refresher consultations
  • Use your dual-brake practice vehicle
  • Pick up and drop off students at their home address
  • Prepare students for road tests and the Insurance Reduction Certificate
  • Track progress and provide written feedback after each session

You bring

  • Alberta Driving Instructor Licence (or willingness to be trained)
  • Clean Class 5 driver's abstract
  • 3+ years of Alberta driving experience
  • Patience, clear communication, and a calm presence behind the wheel

Multilingual Instructor — English / French / Spanish

NE / NW preferred Flexible hours

What you'll do

  • Teach driving lessons in your fluent language, in addition to English
  • Support newcomers preparing for their first Alberta road test
  • Same scope of work as our Class 5/7 instructors

You bring

  • Fluent (spoken) in English, French, and Spanish
  • All standard instructor requirements (see Class 5/7 role)
  • Comfort working with new Canadians and first-time drivers

  • Clean Class 5 driver's abstractPulled within the last 30 days, no major infractions in 3 years.
  • Alberta Driving Instructor LicenceAlready held or willingness to be trained.
  • Clear criminal record checkStandard for anyone working with students, especially new drivers under 18.
  • 3+ years driving in AlbertaLocal roads, local weather, local quirks. Calgary winters teach you things.
  • The right temperamentCalm under pressure, easy to learn from, never raises a voice — even at a missed stop sign.

Instructors are paid hourly, once a month. Full details are discussed at interview.
Yes. We operate 7:30am – 7:30pm every day of the week, so we have flexibility for almost any schedule. Tell us when you're available and we'll book accordingly.
Yes, you need to use your fully insured vehicle. For driving consultations where students use their own car, you'll meet them there.
Typically 8 weeks: an initial phone screen, an in-person meeting, a ride-along, and reference + abstract checks. We'll keep you posted at every step.
